My Winning Shots 2

Well this was a few days back, I haven't really had the time to update my blog due to the fact I have been loaded with work the whole time, but here goes.

Recently joined a competition by my college, it was in conjunction with it's "Purple Carnival" and they had a competition that was to take a photo of anything that might show our college to the world. Since almost every nook and cranny in my college looks the same or has been shot by a camera already I decided to take a radical approach, using a very typical shot of my college but manipulating it to look like it was an angle one may not have seen before

The background.

Ta-daaa, the winning shot

I know it's simple but really there is nothing interesting to take in my college besides the architecture.

Yes, yes I am super bald now.

No doubt winning just Rm50, but this contest is a good practice for testing creativity. Of course there were some "orang kampung" who tried to diss me,  by saying my shots were heavily edited and it was not fair, blah blah blah. But to me Post Processing, makes out 20% of photography, there isn't one photo out there commercially used, which has not went through heavy post processing before, and if they can't afford to buy photoshop or know how to use it, than tough luck. Muhahaha. People like this (lack of photography knowledge) really irritates the hell out of me. Till than peeps!
